Default Elite Festive Hats

Now that you've introduced headgear armor useable by all professions, I would suggest you add Elite Festive Hats in the game. Theese are exactly like the Festive Hats you can craft today, but with stats similar as thoose generic headgear you can craft in GW:EN

* 60-80 Armor Rating and Bonus depending on profession.
* Item's Attribute +1
* Can hold an Insignia.
* Dyeable would be nice.

Two suggestions how:
A) Elite Festive Hat Maker, very expensive. Perhaps 25-75 Ectos.
B) Scavenger Hunt, similar to the Black Moa Chick quest.

An example:
Just like the Black Moa Chick quest, items you gather are spread across campaigns, customized, and to be combined in a container. One of theese is a festive hat of your choice. Possible even max 1 hat/character.

ooooooooor you could just make them cost 2k and you get them from the same hat crafter so that they can work just like regular armor, but you can only make the ones you have shown him..... the hats are not special enough for what your saying

It should probably cost something in line of what craftable headgear in GW:EN costs. 10k base cost + material. I think that would be fair enough, and it would give players more options in personalizing their looks a bit.

Why not just updated the festival hat crafter to make them like the new headgear. With the base armor rating, the +1 attribute, and can hold a sig and rune. Maybe make it cost a bit more (no more than say 10k).

That would seem fair to me.
People who where there for the events can still be the only ones to have those headgears, but now they can be usefull to.

1k or 2k instead 10g should be enough.
They are something you create and delete to save space anyways.

I don't like the idea. The festival hats are nice little novelty, but that's all they should be. I get annoyed with people trying to show off things like the Pumpkin hat out of season, but being able to use them inplace of regular armour would have a lot of people wearing them all of the time. The whole game would turn into a joke.

I like the idea of common armour, but festival hats should stay as they are. Fun Holiday items.

Considering that, I'm afraid the damage is already done. Headgear like Blindfold, Crown, Dread Mask, Spectacles, Ninja Mask, ... they're all items that really would belong better as Festive headgears than regular headgears.

Well, the main difference between GW:EN headgear and festival headgear is sice.

Event headgear are usually much bigger.

Make new hats would be better since I almost forget the existence of Festival Hats!

Lol I hate it when people show off with their Festiv. Hats and that keep spamming that other people don't have it, till someone joins who also has it...
And then 2 people are spamming that they have Festiv. Hats that nobody else has xD

Anyways I like Festival Hats because of the rarity of some of them, but I kinda hate the bandana in GW:EN (srry for the peep who like it), and if the Hat is stupid but good there will be a lot of people walking around with weird hats -_-"

But the idea of customising the hat to make something special and at the same time give it armor sounds cool, like a combo of dyes that make another colour, then most people have a different Hat with nice stats, if the hat is then stupid its their own fault XD

The collecting of it should then be the combo of hats and maybe some materials and of course some money.
But I dont discuss what the price should be :P

anyways nice idea

/notsigned.... good for novelty but honestly kinda ruins the RPG side of it when you see a guy run by with a santa hat on....

A santa hat to go with something like this monk armour would not be too bad... at least look a lot better than the woad.

/signed, but the cost should be 1k~2k at most.
